Event: CStC Meet by Carsxhype.com

The SoCal weather has been threatened by reports of passing rain storms this whole weekend, but luckily the rain stopped Saturday afternoon and allowed this Sunday meet to have nice clear skies. Once again a big thanks to Ali from Scion Evolution/Carsxhype.com for setting everything up. The location was nice; easy to find, nothing too busy so getting all the tC's parked together wasn't hard, and still well kept from the cops' view. About 3 or 4 did go by across the street, but they didn't bother anyone. So how about the rides...?

A pretty good turnout from the tC community, pretty impressive, especially since the "So You Think You Can Stance?" meet was happening on the same day. Dayuum was there, so they should have a write on that soon, be sure to check them out. A couple Boxes, Japanese classics, and an Evo crew rolled in as well. Oh yea, a couple Civics rolled in early in the meet, but eventually left (no photos). And then a Honda crew rolled in later and all parked on the side, they mainly just hung out with themselves (no photos).

Before the meet I picked up a pair of HPI Racing tC2's, well so did my friend/SE SoCal co-member, Jeremy, and he actually had time to charge it up for a little while to give it a test run. My friend, by the way, you might recognize...

Yup, the Tanabe sponsored and AIT sponsored tC2. The one with the prototype CF lip kit. The rear diffuser is probably the best part. Give a shout in the comments to show some love if you like this kit!

This was a unique tC, running on air suspension. Just look at that tank in the back.

Now readers, please please please please...DO NOT do this. If you want proper stance without tire/rim/fender damage, roll the fenders properly with the right tools. DO NOT just pull the fenders out with pliers. Why? Because it will look ugly like this!

This is a pretty nice Box, rolling with a Hello Kitty custom front lip and a very original way of doing a roll call.

Let's get some SE love going!

Ali's tC, this one belongs to the host. Simply Clean right?

Manny's boosted tC...clearly one of the most popular guys at the meet, heck in the whole import scene

Jeremy's tC2...he arrived late, but instantly had all eyes watching him...er his ride haha

and my tC2 as well. I got some compliments on the CF Eyelids I did...not to bad for a random mod inspired by ScionLifers haha!

And at the end of the meet, when everyone was going home to watch the Giants take on the 49ers, SE was still here holding it down! We were finally able to park next to each other and DJ Manny was tuning all of our EQ's haha!

Hope you enjoyed and
